It is built in stone and has been completely renovated respecting ancient Tuscan traditions with plastering in natural colours, floors and brickwork in antique terracotta and old chestnut beams. The house is located inside the National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago, it is situated on the hills overlooking the village of Bagnaia and is part of the Sant’Anna del Volterraio complex. It overlooks the valley and is in a panoramic location, facing west, with sweeping views across the bay of Portoferraio, Mount Capanne, the north west coast of Elba, and as far as the northern tip of Corsica. There are amazing sunsets.
The building is on two floors, for a total of about 110 sq.m. net walkable: on the ground floor a typical Tuscan kitchen with pantry, living room with fireplace, two bedrooms, a bathroom. On the first floor, accessed by a staircase in chestnut there is a bedroom, a bathroom and an small open loft. The areas outside the building are attractive and unique, large covered patio with access to the kitchen and dining room, small cellar, storeroom, and a beautiful old wood fired oven, large car port and a gazebo in a wonderful location consisting of a bedroom and bathroom.
